RE-ENTRY

The Re-Entry program provides a comprehensive response to youth who are currently residing in juvenile detention facilities and are returning to their home communities.

The Re-Entry program provides a comprehensive response to the increasing number of incarcerated youth, ages 14-18, who are currently residing in juvenile detention facilities and are returning to their home communities. The program promotes public safety by helping youth make a successful transition by providing comprehensive long-term services to prevent their regression to delinquency after their release.

GANG REDUCTION YOUTH DEVELOPMENT RE-ENTRY PROGRAM

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The GRYD Re-Entry Program provides gang-involved clients ages 14-18, who are re-entering the community from a youth probation camp. Provides community events, workshops, etc. to re-entry clients residing within the Southeast and the 77th GRYD zones.

Program Requirements and/or Eligibility Criteria:
Youth must be within 90 days of pre-release, to be referred to GRYD Re-Entry. The referral process is handled by Probation and processed through the GRYD office.
